Science: Transhumanism January 10, 2009

I posted a teaching about scientists merging men and machines. It is called Singularity and The Image of the Beast. I also posted a teaching called Genetic Armageddon. If you are a first time reader, I suggest that you read both of these articles.

Together both of these articles show that the scientists are on the verge of creating a transhuman. This is a beast that is part human and part something else. It could be part machine or, by mixing DNA, part animal. Creating a transhuman is right on top of us! The genetic manipulation is further advanced, but both are near completion which results in a human who is no longer human.

I believe that tampering with the integrity of man is a KEY sign of the approaching Day of the LORD. God will put a stop to this at the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus. It appears from Revelation 13:15 that man will succeed in creating a transhuman which the Bible calls “The Image of the Beast.”

From charting the advancement toward creating a transhuman being, it is possible to get an idea how close man is to the Day of the LORD and God’s judgment. God must stop the creation of transhumans because these creatures are not created in His image and likeness; therefore, they cannot be redeemed through the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Transhumanism shows the end of the road of man’s rebellion against God! This is close, very close. What I am posting is NOT science fiction. What was once science fiction is now becoming reality! What was science fiction 20 years ago can be reality in the very near future! It is like much of science fiction is advertisement for transhumanism. It is softening the public, especially the youngsters, to accept it.These are incredible times we live in and do not be fearful: but grow closer to the Savior and focused on His Coming.

 I just watched a show on the Science channel about transhumanism. It was a real eye opener just how far down the road science is to creating a transhuman. To the scientists involved in the show, transhumanism was a “done deal” just waiting for the finishing touches. What stood out in the show is how much they referred to evolution. Science was just speeding up evolution or now man is in charge of evolution. Evolution is really evil as it leaves God out of the picture and now the scientists are playing God. They will play god to the point of creating the Image of the Beast that they will have to worship, which if they do, will dam them for eternity! They are building their own gallows. God is NOT mocked.

The real Frankenstein experiment: One man’s mission to create a living mind inside a machine They are talking about this happening by 2018. I think it is going to be much sooner. Remember, Revelation 13 states the world is going to be involved with making the Image of the Beast. This is starting to take shape NOW.

This article shows just how close the scientists are to creating a human mind in a computer! The mind is being digitized, so a person’s thoughts could be downloaded into this computer.The robot body is nearly perfected, so all the ingredients for the Image of the Beast are in place. Now what is needed is fine tuning and some breakthroughs.

Silencing Brain Cells With Yellow and Blue Light This is frightening, as the mind’s thought patterns can be disrupted by light. One day this will be used against people who do not think in a PC way.

The future of brain-controlled devices

“Researchers are already using brain-computer interfaces to aid the disabled, treat diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, and provide therapy for depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Work is under way on devices that may eventually let you communicate with friends telepathically, give you superhuman hearing and vision or even let you download data directly into your brain, a la “The Matrix.”

Rethinking artificial intelligence This is a long article and can be technical, but it is loaded with great information.

Scientists say dolphins should be treated as non-human persons This is all part of getting society ready for transhumans. It is to blur the distinction between human and non-human.
