The 666 Surveillance System
Revelation 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. There is not a more spine-chilling chapter in the entire Bible than Revelation chapter 13. This chapter describes the rise to power of a demoniacally inspired world dictator, similar in nature to Adolph Hitler. He is called “the Beast”, but better known as the Anti-Christ. He uses a world financial system to control the people, as no one can buy or sell unless they are linked by a mark with the number 666 to this system. Thus this mark in the body is known as the “Mark of the Beast.” (Continued see: The 666 Surveillance System)
Although the Bible limits the “Mark” to economics, the current rapid advancement of technology shows that it is going beyond economics to a total world-wide surveillance system; thus, the “666 Surveillance System.” The Bible states that once a person receives the 666 Mark, he is locked into it and cannot escape. This person is eternally doomed. I believe that part of this system is mind-control. Once a person joins, the mind is seared and cannot escape; thus, the perfect “man/mouse trap”.
This blog keeps the reader on the cutting edge technology creating the conditions for fulfilling the “666 Surveillance System”. I have identified certain technologies that are needed to bring this system to pass. These technological advancements are reported under headings, so the reader is kept on the cutting edge of developments and can see where it is all heading. These headings include: Cashless Society, The Mind, E-Tattoos/Mark of the Beast, Total Surveillance, and High Technology.
This blog is the complement to the “Image of the Beast“ which focuses on man’s quest to transform creation, and to become “as gods” by “directing human evolution” using transhumanism.
Remember, that this system is in place immediately prior to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. It really does appear that His coming is not that far off. Are you ready to meet Him?
Commentary
There is increasing talk about linking individual minds either to other minds or to the internet cloud (defined in article below), and there is research seeking to make this a possibility in the near future. That’s the focus of this post. The first article is very long but it contains lots of information and ideas so instead of an up-front commentary, we’ll go through some of the ideas in that article and comment on them as we go.
There’s also an article about Ray Kurzweil’s vision (the leading promoter of Singularity) of a future where we’re all connected to the internet through our minds rather than our computers, something he finds exciting and promising rather than cause for concern. Finally, scientists are working on pinpointing the source of our free will. As usual, they speak of it in terms of the marvels it can produce once they understand it fully.
They argue that in the wonderful future they constantly promise, machines will be able to anticipate our needs. But understanding and being able to manipulate our free will – knowing what we’ll decide before we know ourselves, has a potential for extreme abuse and control.
All of these steps are leading us toward the mind control that will be a hallmark of the 666 Beast/Surveillance System. We’ve discussed the idea of a hive mind before but what’s startling is not just how quickly they’re making progress toward it, but how rapidly the public is becoming comfortable with and accepting of the idea. Free will is arguably God’s greatest gift to mankind, but in tampering with that, we’re on the verge of losing that which makes us most like Him. Yet with perverse reasoning, the scientific elite believe that the technology being pursued will give them godhood.
Ephesians 4:17-19 This I say therefore and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other[s]…walk,in vanity of their mind. Having their understanding darkened, and being strangers from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart: Which being past feeling, have given themselves unto wantonness, to work all uncleanness, even with greediness.
The Mind/ Digitized Mind
“Magic: The Gathering” cards often are considered ‘cardboard crack.’ But do they convey a more ominous message?
Part of the reason that so few people know how much is occurring in scientific research aimed at decoding the brain, or using that information to control or create artificial minds, is because it’s all happening so quickly. It’s hard to keep up with what’s occurring, even for those devoted to following it. And this same rapid pace is true for all tech areas. It’s why the 666 Beast/Surveillance System will be upon most people who reject Jesus Christ before they even see it coming. While it’s introduced to the masses through gadgets and gimmicks that promise greater security and convenience, behind the scenes the focus is broader and often darker.
“[W]e’ve moved beyond merely thinking orders at machinery. Now we’re using that machinery to wire living brains together. Last year, a team of European neuroscientists…reported a kind of – let’s call it mail-order telepathy – in which the recorded brainwaves of someone thinking a salutation in India were emailed, decoded and implanted into the brains of recipients in Spain and France (where they were perceived as flashes of light).
There’s a machine in a lab in Berkeley, California, that can read the voxels right off your visual cortex and figure out what you’re looking at based solely on brain activity. One of its creators, Kendrick Kay, suggested back in 2008 that we’d eventually be able to read dreams (also, that we might want to take a closer look at certain privacy issues before that happened). His best guess was that this might happen a few decades down the road – but it took only four years for a computer in a Japanese lab to predict the content of hypnagogic hallucinations (essentially, dreams without REM) at 60 per cent accuracy, based entirely on fMRI data.
When Moore’s Law shaves that much time off the predictions of experts, it’s not too early to start wondering about consequences. What are the implications of a technology that seems to be converging on the sharing of consciousness?”
Any project by DARPA has the potential for some dark use – the agency is synonymous with black ops. So when we learn that they’re on the verge of creating an artificial brain a number of questions arise, such as what do they hope this new creation will be able to do and how could it affect all of us?
Artificial intelligence has been a hot topic in the media lately but as we noted in a recent Image of the Beast post, “Artificial Intelligence (AI): The Beast is Here” it is very different from self awareness. From the reports, it appears that in creating an artificial brain, DARPA is seeking sentience, that is, self awareness, and not merely intelligence. But what they’re neglecting is the role of soul or spirit – that spark of life added by God when a life begins. So if this artificial brain is implanted into some type of body, and it does “wake up” by coming to life, the spark that’s added won’t be human or animal even. But it very well could be perfect housing for the demonic.
“If physics is right – if everything ultimately comes down to matter, energy and numbers – then any sufficiently accurate copy of a thing will manifest the characteristics of that thing. Sapience should therefore emerge from any physical structure that replicates the relevant properties of the brain.
We might be about to find out. SyNAPSE – a collaboration between the US Defense Advances Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the IT industry – is even now working on a hardware reconstruction of a human brain. They’re hoping to have it running by 2019, although if physics is right, ‘awake’ might be a better term.
Then again, if physics is right, we shouldn’t exist. You can watch ions hop across synapses, follow nerve impulses from nose to toes; nothing in any of those processes would lead you to expect the emergence of subjective awareness. Physics describes a world of intelligent zombies who do everything we do, except understand that they’re doing it. That’s what we should be, that’s all we should be: meat and computation. Somehow the meat woke up. How…does that even work?”
Even ‘Scientific American’ is on the bandwagon
The idea of both artificial minds and hive minds have been pushed with increasing frequency in media from stories and articles, to films, to television. It began with science fiction (which is typical) but increasingly has moved into reality. Over time, the population is being conditioned to accept it as not just normal but desirable. The paragraphs below are just one example.
But while Kurzweil and others can boast of the information available to anyone who is connected either to the internet or to billions of other minds, it seems that it will be closer to The Borg from Star Trek. A mass of humans who have their thoughts and their wills controlled would be a perfect instrument for the 666 Beast/Surveillance System.
“You already are a hive mind. You always have been.
This thing you think of as you: it spreads across two cerebral hemispheres connected by the corpus callosum, a fat meaty pipe more than 200 million axons thick. Suppose I took a cleaver to that pipe, split it down the middle. (That’s no mere thought experiment: severing the corpus callosum is a last-ditch measure against certain forms of epilepsy.) In the wake of such violent separation, each hemisphere would go its own way. It would develop its own tastes in clothes, music, even its own religious beliefs. Ramachandran tells of a split-brain patient with a Christian hemisphere and an atheist one. You’ve probably heard of Alien Hand Syndrome, or at least seen the movie Dr Strangelove: try to put on a certain shirt, your evil hand rips it off. Try to pick up a favourite pen, your evil hand knocks it away and picks up a Sharpie instead.
Except it’s not your hand at all any more, of course. It belongs to that other self living across the hall, the one that used to be part of you before the break up.”
This technology is here, now. It’s just a matter of fine tuning, getting the population used to or enthusiastic about the ideas and then developing a scheme for implementing them in practical ways. Already a number of experts have warned about cell towers being used against people in areas related to thought processes; there even have been lawsuits over this, as we reported in a post nearly a year ago, “Google ‘Nearby’: Infiltration of Every Aspect of Your Life”. Just scroll down in that post to the Category, “The Mind” to read two stories related to this subject!
“DARPA has thrown its weight behind the development of a ‘cortical modem’, a direct neural interface wired right into your gray matter (we’re already using implants to reprogram specific neurons in other primates). But DARPA may have already been scooped by Theodore Berger, down at the University of Southern California. Way back in 2011, he unveiled a kind of artificial, memory-forming hippocampus for rats. The memories encoded in that device can be accessed by the organic rat brain; they can also be ported to other rats. It won’t be long before such prostheses scale up to our own species (that is in fact the explicit goal of Berger’s research).
If the prospect of surgery squicks you out, Sony has registered blue-sky patents for technology that plants sensory input directly into the brain using radio waves and compressed ultrasound. They’re selling it as a great leap forward for everything from gaming to telesurgery. (For my part, I can’t help remembering that neurons fire pretty much the same way whether they’re processing sensory input or religious belief. The difference between instilling sights, sounds, political opinions – why not an irresistible craving for a certain brand of beer? – might come down to little more than where you aim the beam.)”
Will one technology be used for mind control or will it be a combination of them all?
We’ve been warning that part of the reason why anyone who takes the Mark of the Beast will be unable to repent is mind control. It’s becoming increasingly clear that this isn’t speculation; it seems all but certain. While it may involve more than that, control through this ‘hive mind’ certainly will play a large role in it.
We’re so close to that system that there is more than one way it can occur. Now the question becomes which one will be the actual means used – or will it be a combination of them? This article concludes that if a hive mind type of brain connection doesn’t happen, it isn’t because we can’t make it happen, it will be because we’re afraid of having it happen. But the evil elites who are the driving force behind setting up the 666 Beast/Surveillance System for their Luciferian masters don’t lack the nerve. It’s what they’ve been working toward all along. And we’ve been warned through God’s Word what to expect, and why those that are alive at the time must reject the Mark of the Beast and all that goes with this system.
“None of these efforts are explicitly designed to connect one human mind to another. What they’re pioneering is an interface, the ability to translate thoughts from meat into mech and back again. What we are seeing, in other words, is the genesis of a new kind of corpus callosum that extends beyond the confines of a single skull.
Cory Doctorow’s novel Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom (2003) describes a near future in which everyone is wired into the internet, 24/7, via cortical link. It’s not far-fetched, given recent developments. I’m not sure that’s the way it’s going to happen, though.
I don’t necessarily buy into the hokey old trope of an internet that ‘wakes up’. Then again, I don’t reject it out of hand, either. Google’s ‘DeepMind’, a general-purpose AI explicitly designed to mimic the brain, is a bit too close to SyNAPSE for comfort (and a lot more imminent: its first incarnations are already poised to enter the market).
If we do stop short of a hive mind, it’s unlikely to be because we lack the tech; it’ll only be because we lack the nerve.”
Will we all soon be connected to the cloud? Those who read Revelation carefully won’t.
Ray Kurzweil: Human brains could be connected to the cloud by 2030 We believe that it will be much sooner than this.
“Artificial intelligence pioneer Ray Kurzweil has predicted that within 15 years technology will exist that will allow human brains to be connected directly to the internet.
Speaking at the Exponential Finance conference in New York on Wednesday (3 June), Kurzweil hypothesised that nanobots made from DNA strands could be used to transform humans into hybrids.
“Our thinking then will be a hybrid of biological and non-biological thinking,” Kurzweil said. “We’re going to gradually merge and enhance ourselves. In my view, that’s the nature of being human – we transcend our limitations.”“We’ll be able to extend (our limitations) and think in the cloud. We’re going to put gateways to the cloud in our brains.”
Connecting brains to the internet or a cloud computer network will allow for advanced thinking, Kurzweil predicts, and by the late 2030s human thought could be predominantly non-biological.”
Are fMRI thought police on the way?
Brain implant that decodes intention will let us probe free will The result is the control of the free will.
“Imagine a world where you think of something and it happens. For instance, what if the moment you realise you want a cup of tea, the kettle starts boiling? That reality is on the cards, now that a brain implant has been developed that can decode a person’s intentions. It has already allowed a man paralysed from the neck down to control a robotic arm with unprecedented fluidity.
But the implications go far beyond prosthetics. By placing an implant in the area of the brain responsible for intentions, scientists are investigating whether brain activity can give away future decisions – before a person is even aware of making them. Such a result may even alter our understanding of free will.
The most intriguing aspect of Andersen’s work, he says, is that we are now able for the first time to record the brain activity underlying intentions while asking about a person’s conscious experience. For example, Andersen’s team has already started to repeat classic free will experiments in which researchers try to use brain activity to predict a person’s decisions before they are consciously aware of making any.
“We will be able to look carefully into big philosophical questions of whether a person’s future decisions can be decoded from their neural activity before the individual is aware of having formed them – and what that all means for our ideas on free will,” says Diedrichsen. “It really captures the imagination.”
Conclusion
God has warned in the Bible where this world system is heading. The 666 Surveillance System is now on the fast track. There is no stopping it. Are you going to be with Jesus Christ and eternal life, or are you going to take the “666 Mark” and be eternally damned? The stakes could not be higher: eternal life or eternal damnation. Now is the time to repent of sin and trust Jesus Christ as your Savior.
