Commentary
The breakthrough toward Singularity continues at an accelerated pace as the Japanese have just produced a life like robot of a five year old girl! It was made in the image of an actual child. If this can be accomplished, then a life like robot can be made in the image of an adult man. I believe The Image of the beast has a robotic body with a human type brain. Remember, the scientists are looking for the big breakthrough to occur starting in 2009 onward. You can actually see the young girl robot in action in the attached article.

These robots might look crude now, but in a few years they will very closely resemble a human maybe to the point it is difficult to distinguish the real from the image.
