To create a functioning Image of The Beast, three fields of science are involved. These include a robotic body, a CPU that is compatible with a human brain, and the thinking process of the brain electronically transferable to the CPU. The robotic field is way down the road to having a “body” for the Image. This field has exploded in just the last year. If you have been following the updates, you can see how this just exploded. I have posted more articles on robotics, as the perfection of the robot is now happening on a regular basis.
The electronic mapping of the brain has accelerated to fevered pace. Every week there is a new discovery of how the brain electronically functions and how this is interactive with a computer. The following is an article that just came out. It shows how the thoughts of a brain can be identified by a computer and then transferred to a robot for action! Honda connects brain thoughts with robotics This is Singularity and a huge breakthrough. The Futurists believed 2009 would be the breakthrough year, and it seems they are right on schedule.
The field of the computer “brain” that is compatible with the human brain to control the robot seems behind the others; however, all three fields are a long way down the road to Singularity. It is coming very fast now.
