Science: Calling Fire From Heaven

I believe that modern technology, in the form of laser weapons, may explain in Revelation 13:13 about fire coming from heaven. I write about this in my article titled: Calling Fire From Heaven. Please read the article so you can understand this update.

The airborne laser beam weapon is now progressing very quickly. Its progress in the last two years has been nothing short of astonishing. The weapon can now destroy missiles shortly after they are launched. The laser is able to lock onto a missile just after it is launched, and then fire a high intensity laser beam which melts the superstructure of the missile: thus destroying it in flight.

At the present rate of progress in just a few more years, the ability of these weapons are going to be astonishing, and someone will be able to call fire from heaven at any spot on earth.
